Ask anybody and they'll tell you about my almost unhealthy fascination with songstresses from the U.K., particularly a beautiful and incredibly talented Lianne La Havas. However, that doesn't mean my ears aren't in tune with melodic sounds from around the globe. Take international pop-by-way-of-soul sensation Yuna for example.

The incredibly gifted singer and songwriter hails from South Asia's Malaysia, carries her Muslim faith with pride, and crafts some of the best soul music currently out. And just as easily as she mastered English, Yuna masters the ability to caress your ears with a voice that is mellow, powerful, and invokes the best spirits of late '90s and early '00s folk, soul, and pop.

Last year she released her first American release, Yuna, to almost unanimous critical acclaim, and followed it up with the equally amazing Sixth Street EP. On October 28th, she's keeping on the grind with the international release of her album Nocturnal. To keep the fans at a fever pitch, she just recently let go the single "Colors" and it's ever bit as alluring and lush as her previous releases. Check the track out and let us know in the comments if Yuna deserves the praise.

Yuna's much-anticipated Nocturnal album will be here in less than two weeks, as today the talented Malaysian singer-songwriter liberates another track from the work. "Colors" is a significantly upbeat number from the angelic vocalist that will probably get stuck in your head one way or the other. Yeah, this one is pure feel-good material. Nocturnal is set to arrive on October 29, but while you wait, enjoy the latest from Yuna above.
