LEE MEAD, Matt Rawle and Stephen Rahman-Hughes, who have starred in some of the West End's biggest and most successful musicals in recent years, star in West End Men which receives its world premiere at GLive, Guildford, on Wednesday, July 18, 2012.

The West End Men have been handpicked from the heart of the West End, and are both charismatic and fiercely talented. They will present a selection of signature numbers from some of their most famous roles together with some of the best known show tunes in the world.

They will be accompanied by live musicians and a full choir and be supported by special guest Kerry Ellis.

Lee Mead was already a successful West End performer when he won Any Dream Will Do, the BBC's search for a lead for Andrew Lloyd Webber's revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Since then, he has appeared as Fiyero in Wicked and Emmett in Legally Blonde The Musical. He has also performed solo concert tours and released three solo albums.

Matt Rawle

Matt Rawle, who began his career playing the title role in the original production of Martin Guerre, has gone on to appear in an enormous range of major musicals including Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Aspects of Love, Zorro and most recently, the acclaimed revival of Evita (as Che).

Stephen Rahman-Hughes initially trained as a dancer at Rambert, before discovering his voice and landing a leading role in West Side Story. He went on to play the lead in the Andrew Lloyd Webber produced musical Bombay Dreams, as well as many other roles, which led to him being selected as a founder member of Sony BMG's group Teatro.

Kerry Ellis is fast becoming the First Woman of British musical theatre. She created the role of Meat in We Will Rock You and went on to play the lead in a number of West End musicals before landing the role of Elphaba in the original London cast of Wicked – a role that she reprised on Broadway. She has released three albums and recently toured with Brian May with the show Anthems.

Stephen Rahman-Hughes

The West End Men is directed by renowned director Mitch Sebastian, who was recently described by Time Out as being "the future of British Musical Theatre". He has received acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic for a body of work that includes the phenomenally successful and Olivier Award-nominated The Rat Pack Live from Las Vegas, which has enjoyed numerous runs in the West End and across the world, including North America.

The West End Men is produced by Milton Morrissey Ltd and Jason Haigh-Ellery.
