Diamond-eyed skull KTN is back. We haven't heard anything new from LA-native Jake Stanczak since his February collaboration 'Lightspeed' with Datsik, but he is sure to remind us exactly who he is with his new 'Roots Remixed' EP, which is (exactly as the name suggests) a compilation of remixed singles from his 'Roots' EP. More specifically, the 'Jokes On You' VIP/remix was just released in this bundle, off the label he started with the one and only DJ Craze. As Slow Roast Records guarantees you can expect, this remix of the 2010 house track is "a piping hot, 100% pure, quality cut that will leave you satisfied and wanting more". The familiar laughter introduction leads to a series of mammoth drops and high-register squeals, resulting in a faster paced, punchier original on plenty of steroids. Tinged with hip-hop, and disgusting in the best way possible- Turn it UP and listen at your own risk.
