Mike's Rankings:
4)Vick Ballard, IND
Ballard is in a platoon with Donald Brown and they'll be sharing carries against Miami. While Miami makes for a good match up, I hate platoons and Ballard could be better than 4th on this list, but not by much. He nets 45 rushing yards and 1 catch for 10 yards. Basically even with our 3rd ranked RB…..
3) Isaac Redman, PIT
Dwyer is out after a 100 yard game rushing last week. Redman gets in the action only to face a stiff Giants defense that has speed on the edges. Pitt's offensive line isn't close to what it was in years past. Redman isn't that versatile and goes for only 65 yards rushing, no TDs.
2) Andre Brown, NYG
Ahmad Bradshaw's foot is bothering him again. He hasn't practiced all week and may not see the field. Even if he does, he'll no doubt be limited against the Steelers who have a solid, yet aging defense. The Giants should still move the ball with their potent offense and Andre Brown is back in action. I see Brown going for 75 yards and 1 TD.
1) Pierre Thomas, NO
Mark Ingram's a solid runner and former Heisman Trophy winner…..oh wait, he hasn't done much in New Orleans offense and won't since he's miscast on this team and isn't a great ball catcher. Thomas is the guy that the Saints know they can rely on and fits much better. Ingram still gets action but not as much as Thomas in what should be a high scoring affair. Thomas goes for 80 yards rushing, 6 catches, 50 yards receiving, and 1 TD.
Rich's Rankings:
4) Vick Ballard, IND
Colts interim coach Bruce Arians has come out and said starters don't lose their jobs due to injury. This means Ballard will have to split time with Donald Brown who's back from knee surgery. When you couple this with the Colts playing Miami this week, it means Ballard's going to have a hard time getting yards on his limited carries. He could seize the opportunity and roll with the carries he gets. Or he could continue his mediocre 3.4 yards per carry average and get you single digit fantasy points. I tend to believe the latter. Look for Ballard to be a good flex option this week.
3) Andre Brown, NYG
Brown's rival Bradshaw didn't practice on Friday because of a bad foot. This means Brown will likely once again be thrust into getting the majority of the carries. He's playing a stiff Steelers D but Brown has already shown this season he can rise to the occasion. He'll give as good as he gets this week and put in a solid performance. Look for him to be a #2 RB.
2) Isaac Redman, PIT
Redman has had a chance to start this year, but didn't take advantage of it. Now he's back from an ankle injury with his competition, Dwyer and Mendenhall, both listed as doubtful. In the NFL you normally don't get second chances. But Redman does this week. He's playing a good Giants D but that won't stop him from going to work. Look for him to be a #2 RB this week.
1) Pierre Thomas, NO
The great news for Thomas owners is that Sproles is out indefinitely with a broken hand. He's proved in the past that he can be "The Man" when it comes to fantasy points. And the fact that he plays in a high-powered offense led by Drew Brees means he's in for a big day. Even though he's playing a stingy Philly defense, when you mix in his rushing and receiving yards, he's a solid #2 RB. If he gets a TD as well, he becomes a high-end #2 RB.

Flex Position- This is a running back and wide receiver that ranks outside of their standard position but may be worth a start in deeper leagues that use a flex starter spot in an active line up
