Rita Will Fight For Child Custody

Posted: 11 Apr 2012 10:52 PM PDT

PETALING JAYA – Female actress, Rita Rudaini will fight all-out to obtain child custody over her children if she and her husband, former national football player, Aidil Zafuan Abd. Radzak does not have a long marriage.

Rita will also defend her rights as mother to Airit Rayyan Rizqin, 3, and Airit Rafqa Arjuna if her family-in-law bring the case to court later.

"I have lasted too long and news of Aidil wanting to divorce me did not surprise me a bit. Besides, he has not come home for nearly four months.

"I want to say thank you to Aidil for sharing his life with me all this while until we got two children," said Rita.

However, Rita is upset that Aidil did not even try to defend their marriage and did not hold discussions to resolve problems between them.

Regardless, Rita accepts the test and obstacles given to her.

For Rita, she has tried her very best to maintain her ties with Aidil since they first got married.

In fact, for four years, her children were her source of strength to continue to live every time a problem or an obstacle befalls on her.

Rita will not prevent Aidil's right as a father to visit and see their children after they divorce later.

"Aidil did see the children recently. We did not run away from him but he left us," she said.

Yesterday, Rita claimed that she received a short messaging system (SMS) from Aidil that informed her that her husband filed for divorce.

Following that, Rita is handing over all the divorce application procedures to her lawyer to be settled with Aidil's attorney.

Mia Sara Nasuha in LizOthman's Lamia

Been working with the cute and talented minor actress in a few occasions has given me the opportunity to understand her likings and preferences. Normally, when magazine requested me to prepare an outfit for her, they would asked "Could you please prepare her with 'something nice'?" and I would reply "Would love to, no worry!, I know her size (and just how she likes it to be)".

Being a true feminine that she is, Mia likes it long and vibrant. The answer is Lamia. During the photo session, she loves it so much that she had worn it twice.

Mia with singer Alif Aziz

Lamia is now available for size 1Y-3Y for RM60 and 4Y-6Y for RM70. You can email (order@lizothman.com) to order or visit my Shop.

Cheers!

Najwa Latif's Appearance At ABPBH2011 Was Criticized?

Posted: 09 Apr 2012 01:43 AM PDT

The 2011 Berita Harian Most Popular Artist Award (ABPBH2011) which just closed its curtains last night showed the handsome actor, Aaron Aziz emerging as the most popular artist.

It is common, in festive functions such as the award event there are some parties who become spies to look at every artist's appearance who were present that night.

Young singer, Najwa Latif herself did not miss from receiving criticism from various parties including fans of this country's entertainment industry.

At the night of the award, Najwa wore a bright pink dress designed by Wan Huzairil.

Added with the gray shiny selendang on her head, the adaptation did not make her glow or attract attention to her.

Not only that, when the young singer who is popular with the song Cinta Muka Buku performed with a male artist, Black on stage, the audience was once again surprised with Najwa's weird appearance.

Najwa was seen wearing a bright red rompers with black flowers indicating that her fashion sense is a bit 'confused' and 'chaotic'.

Immediately after her performance with Black, most fans who criticized Najwa's dressing on the social site Twitter basically did not 'approve' Najwa's appearance.

Aside from that, several other artists also appeared wearing weird clothes like Didie Alia who was called Lady Gaga Malaysia and Fifie Natasya who is a new actress in the Vanilla Coklat drama.

SYNOPSIS

A complex story of murder, passion and haunting memories for three estranged brothers and their ailing father.

Ilham (Faizal Hussein), Bakar (Pekin Ibrahim) and Adil (Zahiril Adzim) are three estranged half-brothers, sons of the old wayang kulit puppetmaster Pok Eng (Wan Hanafi Su). Ilham is a hitman for a Thai crime syndicate, charged by his keeper Deng (Bront Palarae) with finding a tomoi kickboxer who fled his fight and doesn't necessarily have to bring him back alive. Adil is that kickboxer, reluctantly rescued by his friend Muski (Amerul Affendi) and brought back to his old mentor Pok Wah (Namron). Bakar is scheming to obtain his father's ancestral lands in order to sell it to developers, and has his henchman Jolok (Hushairy Hussein) bribing and threatening anyone who stands in his way. The fractured family converge on their home village - aptly named Bunohan, loosely meaning "murder" - where the spectre of Ilham's mother Mek Yah (Tengku Azura) still haunts the swamps and beaches. Their tale will be one of corruption, betrayal, despair, violence - and yes, murder. (ThatMovieBloggerFella)

Is BUNOHAN This Century's Greatest Malay Movie?

Posted: 05 Mar 2012 02:13 AM PST

Bunohan is a movie that is starting to gain popularity regarding its greatness long before it is even screened in cinemas.

Since the movie trailer was shown on Youtube last year, local movie lovers and activist start to feel that it would bear its own standard in local and international film industry.

It is proven true.

Even earlier the movie was sniffed out by Universal Pictures who successfully obtained distribution rights.

Since it was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, September last year, the movie produced by Nandita Solomon also managed to penetrate several other festivals including the 2011 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival, 2011 Sao Paolo International Film Festival, Palm Spring International Film Festival, 2011 Asia Film Festival in Bali, 2012 Rotterdam International Film Festival and the 2011 Fantastic Fest in the United States of America.

Besides that, Bunohan's impressive storyline which features Faizal Hussein, Zahiril Adzim, Pekan Ibrahim, Bront Palarae, Nam Ron, Wan Hanafi Su, Sofi Jikan and many more has been marketed successfully in nearly 30 countries including United Kingdom (UK), France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand.

The latest, this movie was also highly praised by Rembau Member of Parliament who is also UMNO Youth Leader, Khairy Jamaluddin.

In an interview with a newspaper recently, its director Dain Said described Bunohan as a manuscript born from a sincere heart and is also close to his heart.

What more, raised in Tumpat, Kelantan, Dain was very impressed with tomoi activities which became a mandatory activity and generates economy from tomoi clubs.

"It could be said that Bunohan was born from my experience and perception when I was small who saw how tomoi activity which actually has a metaphor behind the definition of violence that is often labeled as.

"It really connects their family ties through business at the same time giving me an idea to write this manuscript.

"Maybe some do not know, Bunohan is also a place in Kelantan," he said telling that the story of Bunohan was already in his mind since five years ago before he directed his first movie, Dukun.

However said Dain, the tale of tomoi is not the backbone to Bunohan's narrative story but actually shows family relationship between three siblings played by Faizal, Zahiril Adzim and Pekin Ibrahim.

Bunohan is a story about Adil who was involved in a deathly tomoi competition in Thailand, however he was saved by his best-friend, Muski. Because he violated the rules, Adil is hunted by Ilham, a killer hired by the organizer of the illegal competition.

Muski brought Adil back to their hometown, Bunohan. Without realizing it, Ilham is his step-brother who has not return to his hometown since he ran away as a teenager, after his parents divorced. Ilham tracked Adil to Bunohan.

There, Adil's older brother, Bakar also returned to the hometown with an excuse of taking care their father who is sick. Actually, he has an evil agenda.

Wow…actually I am quite excited when I read the comments, trailer and the movie's storyline.

Could it be true that Bunohan is this century's greatest Malay movies?

Watch it in cinemas starting this March 8…. -Syahril A. Kadir (mynewshub.my)

Aida Aris Tiada Masa Berbulan Madu | N9 Kini - Portal Berita Negeri ...

Posted: 25 Feb 2011 06:47 PM PST

make-up tutorial for Malaysian (Korean Style)

Friday, 9 March 2012 @ 14:36

Annyeong haseyo ! Hehe . I'm not a fan of Erul AF tuu yerr . His pronunciation pun salah . setiap kali dia sebut tuu "annyeong haseyo" , tak pernah sampai kat telinga aku . yang sampai is "ani jual sayorr" . Kepada peminat Erul tuu sorry laa ehh , semua pun ada pendapat masing-masing kan . So do I .

Back to the topic , now imma teach you all cara-cara untuk wear make up style ala-ala Korean. First of all , this is not hundred percently from me .. Secondly , as i said "ala-ala" . so yeah , we are Malaysian . Kulit orang Malaysia ni berbeza dengan kulit orang Korea . Get what I mean ? Good .

I purposely buat ni tutorial bersebab tau . nak tau kenapa ? sebab zaman sekarang ni makin hari makin ramai gadis-gadis comel yang suka guna make up tebal sampai sepuluh inci . rupa pun dah macam mama orang . =.="

So tutorial ni sangat sesuai bagi gadis belasan tahun yang comeyyy macam korang . kembang leteww . hehehe ~

Korang kenal tak kat dua orang unnies kat atas tuu ? dua-dua pun pernah jadi girlfriend Lee Min Ho , kan ? haha . yang atas tuu dah jadi bekas girlfriend LMH . Yang bawah tuu , hanya dalam lakonan je lah . haha . Cantik tak dorang ? Neway ...

so , what will you all NEED :

 • Compact Powder *sebaik-baiknya pilih laa yang OIL CONTROL dan yang mirip dengan warna kulit korang ( how to choose ? try tepek kat BELAKANG tapak tangan korang tuu ) :)
 • Blusher *pilihlah yang bersesuaian , yang warna dekat-dekat dengan warna kulit korang macam mocha colour or milky chocolate punya tona . kalau yang nak guna warna pink tuu , pilih laa yang sweet-sweet colour . taknak yang terlebih deep pink ekk . noo ~ i repeat , NO .
 • Eyebrow Pencil *korang carilah yang korang rasa sesuai . cari mengikut warna rambut korang , to make it look more natural .
 • Eyeliner & Mascara *pilihlah yang warna brown or black . and yes , kalau boleh pilih yang WATERPROOF supaya makeup tak comot .
 • Lipstick *warning! pilih yang LIGHT COLOUR dan bersesuaian dengan anda . and NO MATTE . itu akan menyebabkan bibir korang kering , kalau korang nak juga guna jenis matte sila guna LIPBALM sebelum apply matte . :) pilihlaa yang moist .

now let's START:

 1. Apply Compact Powder rata kat muka korang , jangan laa tebal-tebal sangat . Apply more kat kelopak mata , baby hair , and sekitar leher korang . Kalau korang nak guna foundation pun boleh jugak , tapi sebaiknya untuk kulit teenage macam korang sebaiknya tak payah laa...
 2. Apply Eyebrow Pencil kat kening korang . JANGAN tekan pensel tuu , just condongkan pensel tu and apply macam korang sketching selalu tuu . and if korang apply terlalu tebal , korang akan end up kelihatan macam orang tengah marah . so the tips is korang apply tebal sikit kat bahagian dalam and apply nipis sikit kat luar , as I said , SKETCH .
 3. Sapukan Blusher kat tulang pipi korang a.k.a cheekbone korang tuu . How ? try to apply dari bawah ke atas . then apply jugak kat batang hidung korang tuu , dari atas ke bawah supaya nampak mancung gitu . and bahagian dahi korang dari kiri ke kanan .
 4. Guna Eyeliner korang tuu . lepas tu baru guna Maskara dengan cara memandang ke atas . :)
 5. Lastly , pandai-pandai lah korang guna Lipstick korang tuu yer . hehe .and again , not to much :)

Sudah baca harap komen lah ehh . teehee . tapi sini tak dapat komen lah , korang just type kat my cbox lah ehh . lagi pun saya belum ada mood nak buat kotak komen tuu . so kalau ada yang tak puas hati pasal Erul tuu or anything pasal tutorial ni ke , hehe , tell-tell laa kat cbox .

p/s : IF YOU ALL HAVE ANY REQUEST FOR HAIR AND BEAUTY TUTORIALS JUST LEAVE YOU MESSAGES KAT CBOX . I REALLY REALLY REALLY ENJOY TO HELP YOU ALL .

thanks for sticking around , till then , annyeong ! xoxo's

Malaysian Sports' Loose Cannon: RIP Master Vincent (Zahari)

Posted: 11 Apr 2012 06:45 PM PDT

I drafted this posting on March 27 but have been postponing it due to my other commitments...but here goes...

My schoolmates find it hard to recall anything significant about me throughout our schooldays for yours truly was truly average. But being schooled in one of the best schools that placed emphasis on sports as part of the process of growing up, helped shape my life and perspective on sports.

The class of 1980, upon receiving our respective medals on the same pitch that bore witness to Hassan Sani's unstoppable run for James Wong to score the winning goal in the pre-Olympics. Recognise the husband of Datuk Sheila Majid?

When 1983 came, I was somehow placed in the top class of Form 1. With William Goldman as our English literature teacher, Puan Sulastri as form teacher and Cikgu Badiozzaman our maths wizard who coined the nickname Kenit for me (for I was one of the shortest in class), the early years were certainly unforgettable. Academically I managed to consistently finish among the bottom three of the class, probably because of my tendency to let my mind wander each time I took a peek outside the classroom. For each time I took a glance, it was either the football Under-15 or Under-18 teams being put through their paces or the hockey teams and the rugby guys undergoing training.

The image of David Fernandez, Vincent Fernandez and Phua Seng Tiong pushing, coaxing and cajoling the seniors in their respective sports remains embedded on my memory bank.

Can you see Harith Iskander the comedian anywhere in this picture? Team skipper was Isham Hassan, brother of Zainal Abidin Hassan...Isham (with the ball) was known for his close control...front row, second from right is Preman, later assistant accountant at Wisma FAM
David Fernandez with the SJI football Under-18 team 1987. Right smack in the middle Sheldon Xavier, keeper when I was right-back of St John School One way back in 1982...Sheldon of course went on to become a football pundit. Back row, notice Hans Isaac? When the star of the team, David Hung, saw the overweight 14-year old Rizal Hashim attending the open trials, he said "wah gumuk pun mau main bola ka"...

Apart from being our PE master, Master Vincent was the voice of sports over the English channel. He had a soothing and distinctive voice perfect for commentary.

When I bumped into Master Vincent covering events on a number of occasions in the mid-90s, I was too intimidated to introduce myself to him. Since I was an average student, no teacher would remember me! Even Badiozzaman could barely recall Kenit! Master Vincent and I often crossed paths, covering badminton tournaments at Stadium Negara, football matches at Stadium Merdeka and hockey events at Stadium Tun Razak but not once I told him that I was his student. Imagine standing before the teacher-cum-coach-cum-sports commentator, ah, not many could hold a candle to him! It was only when I joined the Malay Mail in 1996 that I plucked the courage to tell him that I was a Johannian. The NST sportswriting family then boasted old boys like Lazarus Rokk, younger brother of maths teacher-cum-football coach Kiru, national fencer Gerald Martinez, Malay Mail football coach Tony Mariadass and Faizul Azim Saiful. Then in 2009, SJI-VI organised the Rivalry Games, where I took the opportunity to snap a picture with Master Vincent. Read here

Tributes came pouring in from his students following Master Vincent's demise. One of them Jahabar Sadiq, several years my senior, a councillor prefect who used to tick us off for a lot of reasons. Read here

When producer Markus Lim invited me for Kerusi Panas over Bernama Radio, little did I know he was a Johannian. Read here

My ex-boss Tony Mariadass, a school footballer-turned-sports journalist-cum-coach, pays his tribute

Master Vincent was laid to rest at the Bukit Kiara cemetery, with hundreds of his students in attendance. Among the crowd was actor Hans Isaac, actor-comedian Reza Zainal Abidin, TV host Nazruddin Habibur Rahman and two neighbours of mine, Hisham and Hj Azmi, chairman of our residents' association who happened to be Cikgu Zabedah's cousin. I was standing beside Y.P Sivam as he interviewed Joshua. Read here

Sorry for this late tribute, Master Vincent, but better late than never.

"I'm taking bottles of medication," said master Vincent, referring to his illness, as Zaidi Barkis snapped this picture that I will cherish forever.

Preman, the school's football rightback in 1983 who later became assistant accountant at FA of Malaysia (FAM), said: "Master Vincent was forward thinking, do you know how he prepared the school teams from various sports - football, hockey, basketball, volleyball and rugby - in terms of physical fitness? Months before the schools tournament began, he made us come to school during the December holidays to train around the natural terrains surrounding Bukit Nanas. There were maybe 70 of us, running, jogging, hurting, puffing, climbing...I won't forget the pain one had to suffer in order to perform months later."

A friend on FB, a fellow Johannian, said Master Vincent was fond of reminding his students of the saying "your attitude determines your altitude." With the right attitude human beings can move mountains. The orientation of our minds determines how high we can fly. Master Vincent flew high indeed, as high up as an eagle can be, so high that he had helped his underlings flew higher. That's the hallmark of a great man.

Al-Fatihah.
