Yuna and her sweet voice are back to make your heart swell all over again. If this is your first time meeting the artist, Yuna is a Malaysian singer-songwriter. Last year she released her debut album, Yuna and we were initially introduced to her with the track "Live Your Life," produced by Pharrell (of course). "Falling" is produced by Robin Hannibal (of Quadron/Rhye) and I can definitely hear his influence on the song. The upbeat nature of the production tricks you into thinking the lyrics might not be about the end of a relationship. Although, it does pair quite well with the theme of getting over someone and whatever slip ups or feelings come with that. And, there's really nothing else to say about Yuna's voice–it's so endearing. "Falling" is the first preview of Yuna's sophomore album, Nocturnal, out October 29th. Happy Yuna is back because her voice is so joyful it's hard not to be in a good mood after listening. |
