Shila made it. Our fellow singer from Malaysia is the WINNER of the singing competition Asian Wave 声动亚洲 that is running in China! Just last night, the finale of Asian Wave 声动亚洲 which has just ended in Shanghai, China was broadcasted live from Dragon TV 东方卫视.

For your information, the competition is quite a huge one. The competition was divided into 2 parts which ran since July this year. First part was with singers (60 Participants) from China where the run lasted from 11th of July till 30th of August. The second part focuses on singers from Asia from 3 September to 20 September with participants from 7 different countries.

There were 10 top finalist in the finale that ended just last night. Shila performed 3 songs (Gemilang, Grenade & 征服) before the judges announced that she was the winner of the competition beating other top singers in the region. The Malaysian singer received 9 votes to claim the title of the competition beating 30 other contest participants. Impressive!

Well Congratulations to Shila Amzah and I hope that she can breakthrough from the local entertainment scene making a name for herself in Asia itself. Awesome!
