The workshop was attended by Somalian refugees aged 14 to 17, and kicked off with a presentation on skin and hygiene by Deborah Henry and Tiz Zaqyah. Sharing tips and tricks on how to look after their skin, Tiz said, "The aim for us was to educate these girls on how important hygiene is towards maintaining their skin. I am a strong believer that we can all care for our skin naturally without having to spend a fortune."

Actress Diana Danielle and Harveen Dhaliwal, co-founders of Luxuria Cosmetics conducted the second segment of the workshop which highlighted the correct techniques of makeup application and educated the girls on which cosmetics best suited their skin.
