[News] Kim <b>Yuna</b> withdraws libel suit ~ Daily K Pop News Posted: 18 Jun 2012 07:07 AM PDT Figure skater Kim Yuna again has withdrawn her libel suit accusing Prof. Hwang Sang-min, 49, of Yonsei University of defaming her on radio. Kim's agency, All That Sports, announced yesterday that despite the fact that Hwang had not offered her a genuine apology, the athlete decided to put the issue behind her. The agency also announced that Kim left for China yesterday to take part in the Artistry on Ice skating event in Shanghai that will take place Sunday. The agency added she was not "running away" from th The lawsuit was brought by Kim on May 30 after a comment by Hwang on a radio show May 22 about Kim's student teaching practical. Hwang likened Kim's practical at a girls' high school to a "performance." "It is nothing but a show performed by a celebrity," he said. "I don't think Yuna has attended lectures faithfully in past four years. It is very unfair for normal students who must study hard … and celebrities like Yu-na earn their degrees very easily by showing their face for a few hours at special events." By Carla Sunwoo |

allen-stone-announces-2012-fall-tour-w-tingsek-sister-sparrow-<b>yuna</b> <b>...</b> Posted: 18 Jun 2012 11:11 AM PDT Today Allen Stone announces that he will be travelling across the country to bring his hair-raising performances to a city near you. His 2012 Fall Tour that includes performances from Tingsek, Sister Sparrow, Yuna (who we recently featured on our #Discovery Mixtape), and Selah Sue. The recently signed ATO Records artist has committed himself to donate a portion of the proceeds. Allen, whose mother, Sandy Stone, is a breast cancer survivor, has forged a partnership with The Keep A Breast Foundation, wherein fifty cents from every ticket sold on the tour (including pre-sales and ticket bundles) will go directly to the organization. Allen will also perform on "Late Show with David Letterman" on August 14. (flyer below).
