And Nora ought to know better. She was once married to Rizal Ashram Ramli, the son of another famous political figure – former Perak Mentri Besar and former Dewan Rakyat Speaker Ramli Ngah Talib. They had a son and were divorced six years ago. Nedim too had a failed marriage. According to Nora, she knows about Nedim's notorious past but insists that he is not the playboy portrayed by the media. "The important thing is we are comfortable with each other. Our families are also comfortable with us. He's actually very family-oriented and treats me and my son well," she said. When asked about the future of their relationship,Nora said she leaves the matter all up to Nedim and will only make an announcement once they are set to marry. "However,that does not mean that we would get married anytime soon," she added.
