HOME GROWN INTERNATIONAL SUPER STAR, YUNA CELEBRATES HER RETURN TO MALAYSIA WITH  HOMECOMING CONCERT TOUR

Singer's first ever concert tour in Malaysia kicks off in Penang and Kuching in November 2012

Kuala Lumpur, 19 September 2012:- Singer-songwriter Yunalis Zarai (Yuna) who has established a firm footing in the local entertainment scene, since her debut in 2009, has finally announced her much anticipated  first ever full-on concert tour at a press conference today at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort.

The 'Yuna Homecoming Concert', presented to fans by Canon, and sponsored by Olay will kick off in Penang Times Square on the 11 November 2012 and followed by Sarawak Cultural Village, in Kuching on the 16 November 2012. The concert tour is to draw the curtains  down after  a successful year where she released her first ever international EP (Decorate) and self-titled album in which she toured all over the United States in an effort to introduce herself and her infectious brand of music to the world.

The goal of the concert tour is to treat her loyal fans with a full-blown musical experience. particularly those who have shared her wonderful journey as an artist and witnessed her growth from the shy young woman with an incredibly unique sound to a charismatic singer/ songwriter who has been able to take on one of the world's largest music markets, the United States.

Speaking at the press conference, Yuna said "2012 has been a great year for me, as it provided me with the opportunity to venture into the international scene with my recent tour of the United States. But more than anything, it's great to be back to perform for my Malaysian fans. This concert is my way of thanking them for their support this past four years. Without them, I would not have been able to realise my dream of doing what I love best, creating new music that connects and inspires people."

"It is always important to me to bring my music to new markets and perform in front of fans that may not have had the opportunity to see any of my previous showcases or public performances before. Previously, fans have had to come all the way to Kuala Lumpur to see me perform. This time, I am coming to them. Fans in North and East Malaysia can just make their way to Penang and Kuching to be a part of my concert. I really hope to see all of them there. Thank you to Canon, Olay, Talent Harvest Agency, Yuna Room Records and all sponsors and partners for making this concert tour possible and for always supporting my music career", she further added.

Kyoto Protocol and Diandra Arjunaidi are the opening acts for the concert in Penang while Pearl and Randall and Kaban Ka'au are the opening acts for the concert in Sarawak.

Talent Harvest Agency will also kick-off a series of roadshows for the concert in Penang and Kuching as part of the "Yuna Experience". Fans can purchase concert tickets, tour merchandise, Yuna's albums, IAMJETFUEL scarves, and participate in competitions organised by the organisers and sponsors. Prizes range from meet-and-greet passes, backstage passes, and complimentary concert tickets.
