Today, OM TV, the in-house Marseille channel, have released a new video of Joey Barton interviewing Andre Pierre Gignac, the former Manchester City midfielder's best mate at the club. For those who like to laugh at Joey Barton, you will be pleased to know that Barton is still utilising the weird accent when speaking his mother tongue. In fairness, many Englishmen have fallen into this trap, not least Schteeve McClaren, during his time in Holland. Barton's Frenglish accent is particularly strong at around the 0.40 mark below as the midfielder explains why he wants to interview Andre Pierre-Gignac. We are then treated to a mixture of accents during the interview with Marseille's star striker Andre Pierre Gignac. |
