Yuna's beautifully understated Nocturnal LP was released last month to universal acclaim — a response not exactly foreign to the much-praised Malaysian singer-songwriter. Her delicate vocals and lush, multi-layered sound continue to win new fans around the world.

The 27-year-old dropped by the Idolator studio recently to chat about her sophomore set (as far as the US market is concerned) and opened up about her vision for the album. Yuna also talked about her current influences (Feist, The xx and Lorde) and explained why music she approaches music like any other business. Watch up top.

Wednesday, December 11, Malasian-based singer Yuna has a seductive vocal style. She'll bring a band to perform songs from her latest release "Nocturnal" on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Friday, December 13, The debut album from Australian psychedelic band Jagwar Ma made it on a bunch of top 10 lists here at KCRW and we're excited to host them live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Monday, December 16, Welsh singer Cate Le Bon creates a unique atmosphere in her songs. She'll share her latest batch on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuesday, December 17, Midlake decided to stay together after the departure of their lead singer, which proved to be a wise choice. We'll hear brand new songs when Midlake perform on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, December 18, Derek Vincent Smith aka Pretty Lights built his career on meticulously crafted "sample collages," but his new album has him creating his own breaks from scratch. Pretty Lights joins Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
