These days I've been traveling to many different places around the country and last weekend definetly did not disappoint. Taman Metropolitan was my destination this time, to attend the Stand As One concert. Though there weren't as many people as there were at the Youth United concert, it still rocked! Bunkface was the headline act for this performance. For anyone who doesn't know who Bunkface is or what music they perform check this out. What impressed me the most was the sound that day. Pretty much every performer at the concert sounded great and Bunkface were no exception!
For this shoot I used my kit lens (18-55mm) mostly. I have found that you have to get really close with it to get a decent shot and to add some drama to the picture. Challenges I faced with this lens is the focusing. This lens isn't as sharp as I would have liked, but it did the job. Another challenge I faced was cropping correctly. When the subject is moving fast its hard to compose correctly, but this is something I am going to pay close attention to in my forthcoming shoots. I didn't use any flash either, the daylight was pretty sufficient to carry all through the event. Guys, please feel free to comment in the section below.
